Unfortunately, sometimes what we would hope and pray to be the rule is more frequently the exception. This was my continuous thought as I watched the BBC documentary on 13 year old Deborah Drapper from Dorset, England — should we not all expect this from ourselves and our families? I am moved to love and appreciate so much about Deborah and the Drapper family and I thank God for such a public witness of their faithfulness to the Lord, His Word, and to one another.

Interestingly, the documentary seems to be very fair. They include a few clips from individuals that would mock or ridicule Deborah for her faith as she unabashedly proclaims the great news of the gospel of Jesus Christ. I was also intrigued as I watched it how Deborah responded to what appeared to be a very puzzled (and lost) interviewer. Praise God for Deborah Drapper and her family!
