I taught through the Modern Parables several months ago. I loved it, and so did the students. The series was very helpful in developing a better understanding of the Kingdom parables of Christ. Throughout the series, I had the frequent thought that, “this would be very good material for family worship.” Well, I must not have been the only one, because Modern Parables has now come out with a family teaching guide available for free download (pdf). The questions are designed for discussion with no preparation.
There is also free guided study material available for homeschool families to utilize Modern Parables in their curriculum (.doc). It is indicated for middle and high school students.
